Sync an iPhone After a Restore

Executing a total restore on an Apple iphone returns the system to its default factory settings. This wipes all saved settings, private information and saved paperwork and multimedia files from the phone. To sync the freshly reset iphone with Apple iTunes on your private personal computer, you need to 1st set up the phone as a new system. You can then sync and transfer material from the iTunes library to the phone.

Start Apple iTunes on your personal computer.

Plug one conclude of the USB information cable provided with the iphone into your laptop or computer. Plug the other conclude of the USB cable into the phone.

Wait for iTunes to detect the iphone. An iphone icon will look below "Devices" in the menu on the left aspect of the software window.

Click on "Set Up As New" from the "Set Up Your iphone/iPad/iPod" window.

Wait for the setup wizard to configure the iphone to work with iTunes.

Click on the "Sync" button at the bottom of the principal iTunes window to sync your iphone with iTunes.

Wait for the "Synchronization Total, OK to Disconnect" concept to look in the iTunes standing window and then disconnect the phone. Click on the "Eject" icon, (below "Devices") and unplug the USB cable from the laptop or computer and the iphone.
